After many years of requests for this service, Veneto West is now officially offering mastering services by Ronan Chris Murphy. Veneto West is a multi-use studio designed primarily for tracking and mixing but has recently made several thousands of dollars in equipment and acoustic treatment upgrades to allow us to better serve our clients with mastering services.

For most projects, the best case scenario is to get your CD mastered at a dedicated high end mastering facility that has been designed and equipped specifically for mastering. A few dedicated mastering engineers that do great work and we highly recommend are: Stephen Marsh at Stephen Marsh Mastering, Barry Corliss at Master Works and Robert Vosgien at Capitol Mastering. They master many of the Veneto West production projects that have larger budgets.

Mastering at Veneto West is an ideal choice for artists that do not have the budget for a higher end mastering studios (our rates will often come in at about half the cost of many of the dedicated mastering rooms) but still want their project mastered using high end processing and treated with care by a veteran engineer; and quite often artists specifically want Ronan's input and perspective on a project. He has mastered projects for the likes of King Crimson, Nels Cline & GE Stinson and Joan LaBarbara, as well as many indie artists, and has participated in over one hundred mastering sessions with many amazing mastering engineers.
